FoxyProxy¶

After installation of FoxyProxy you’ll find a new icon in the toolbar of your browser. Do a right-click on it and choose ‘Options’ from the menu.

Add New Proxy¶

Here’s a sample configuration for using a proxy for *.bfh.ch only:

General - Proxy Name: ssh.bfh.ch
Proxy Details - Manual Proxy Configuration: enabled
Proxy Details - Host or IP Address: localhost:8080
Proxy Details - SOCKS Proxy: SOCKS v5
URL Patterns - Pattern Name: bfh.ch
URL Patterns - URL Pattern: *.bfh.ch

Start SSH Port Forwarding¶

ssh -TN -D 8080 ssh.bfh.ch
