All BFH users can login on our generic RStudio Server instance at https://rstudio.linux.bfh.ch .
Our RStudio Server instance can be used to run R calculations. There are no restrictions (you can run non-acadamic things on it) except the physical limits of the server it runs on.
Packages can be installed by the user. If a build-depends is missing on the host for your favourite R package or you need help installing packages, let’s us know by writing a mail (which opens a servicedesk ticket) to it-support@lists.bfh.ch
Open a web browser of your choice and login with your BFH account at https://rstudio.linux.bfh.ch .
To upload data to your home which in turn is stored on our Ceph Storage Cluster, connect with a program of choice through SFTP with your BFH account to rstudio.linux.bfh.ch.
